The five-time Tony award-winning musical, Titanic, is based on the stories of real people aboard the most legendary ship ever to have sailed. Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's masterpiece tells the stories of the passions, the class disparity and above all, the aspirations of the passengers.

With no suspicion of the tragedy that would befall them, 2228 passengers boarded the legendary ship on April 10, 1912 in Southampton, England. Among them were immigrants in Third Class bound for America with dreams of a better life, the newly-enfranchised Second Class dreaming of making their fortunes and joining the high society, and the wealthy industrialists and tycoons of the First Class pondering their legacies. On April 15, 1517 souls perished, with only 711 surviving.

The production is directed by Fran Rude (It’s a Wonderful Life, Jesus Christ Superstar) who is joined by Music Director Ken Rogers and Choreographer Joy Ackerman. Proceeds from the show benefit the programs and services of Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization.
